UK IPTV providers all promise thousands of channels and "no buffering". These are the checks that actually tell them apart:

1. Prices in pounds that add up. Divide the plan price by the months: some UK sites show a per-month figure that doesn't match their own price.
2. The same terms everywhere. If the trial is 24 hours in one place and 7 days in another, or the refund is 7 days on one card and 30 days lower down, ask which one is true.
3. No countdown timers. A "deal ends in 2 hours" timer that restarts every visit is a sales trick, not a deal.
4. Stable on a Saturday afternoon. Test during a busy kick-off, not on a quiet weekday.
5. A real person on WhatsApp who answers before you pay.

Ofcom estimated the TV part of a typical broadband, phone and TV bundle at about £21.15 a month at list price, or £12.20 on a promotional deal (September 2025 data), before premium sports and film add-ons.
